Terms for the CareMatch Intelligence demonstration platform

Last updated: 11 September 2026

No live child information in the public demo

Use synthetic or fully anonymised information only. Do not enter information that identifies, or could reasonably identify, a child or family.

1. About these terms

These terms govern use of the CareMatch Intelligence website and demonstration platform operated by CareMatch Intelligence Ltd. By using the website, creating an account or accessing a demonstration, you agree to these terms.

If you use the platform for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that organisation. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

The demonstration is intended for people aged 18 or over who are authorised representatives of Local Authorities, children’s care providers, commissioners, advisers or potential partners. You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in account secure.

Registration does not guarantee access. CareMatch Intelligence may verify an organisation, request supporting evidence, approve or decline access, assign the appropriate role and restrict features. You must not share access or attempt to enter another organisation’s workspace.

3. Demo-data restriction

The public demonstration is not approved for operational case management or live placement activity. You must use only synthetic or fully anonymised information. You must not enter or upload:

  • a child’s name, date of birth, address, photograph, contact details or case reference;
  • information about relatives, carers or professionals that could identify a child;
  • health, safeguarding, offending, ethnicity, religion, sexual-life or other special-category or highly sensitive information relating to an identifiable person; or
  • documents copied from a live care record, referral, assessment or placement file.

If you accidentally submit identifiable child information, stop using the affected record and contact us immediately so it can be secured and removed.

4. Permitted use

You may use the demonstration to evaluate CareMatch Intelligence, explore synthetic scenarios, provide feedback and discuss a potential pilot. You must not misuse the service, probe or bypass security, introduce malicious code, scrape data, impersonate another person, infringe rights, or use the service for unlawful, discriminatory or harmful purposes.

5. Decision support and professional responsibility

CareMatch Intelligence is decision support, not a substitute for professional judgement, statutory assessment, safeguarding procedures, regulatory checks or due diligence. Match scores, explanations, forecasts and other outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate.

The platform does not make placement decisions. The relevant Local Authority and qualified professionals remain solely responsible for verifying information, assessing risk, consulting the child and relevant people where appropriate, complying with law and guidance, and making and recording every placement decision.

6. Information and uploads

You are responsible for information and documents you submit. You confirm that you are authorised to provide them and that doing so does not breach confidentiality, data-protection law or another person’s rights. Optional organisation-verification documents must contain only what is necessary to verify the organisation or representative.

You retain ownership of your material and permit CareMatch Intelligence and its service providers to host, copy and process it only as needed to operate, secure and improve the demonstration and manage your request.

7. Intellectual property

The CareMatch Intelligence name, platform design, software, matching approach, explanatory content and demonstration materials are protected by intellectual-property rights. Except for the limited right to evaluate the demo, no rights are transferred to you. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or create a competing product from protected parts of the service, except where applicable law does not allow that restriction.

8. Availability and external services

The demonstration is provided for evaluation and may be changed, paused or withdrawn. We do not promise continuous availability or that every feature will be error-free. Sign-in, hosting and delivery depend on third-party services including Supabase, Google, OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare, which may have their own terms and availability.

9. Responsibility and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, the demonstration is provided without charge for evaluation. CareMatch Intelligence is not responsible for a placement, safeguarding or operational decision made using demo output, for loss caused by submitting prohibited live data, or for indirect or consequential business loss. You should not rely on the demo as an operational service.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access where an account is unapproved, information is inaccurate, security is at risk, these terms are breached or the demonstration is withdrawn. You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion, subject to records we must retain for legal or security reasons.

11. Future pilots and contracts

These public terms do not authorise the use of live personal data and do not replace a pilot agreement, procurement contract, data-processing agreement, information-sharing agreement, data protection impact assessment or agreed security schedule. Any operational pilot or paid service will require appropriate written terms with the participating organisation.

12. General terms

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. No other person has a right to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply.
